Body, Breath & Mind: New Logo And Branding

Iā€™m celebrating the big reveal. The launch of my new Logo and Branding.  A reflection of what grounds me in the day to day.  An expression of what  inspires me to teach and share whilst learning from You and the Natural World.

I worked with a designer who listened well and asked good questions. Lisa Dooley has created a beautiful collection of designs including hand gestures, Mudras. These mudras are woven with breath, chakras and meditation in Textures of Yoga.

Within the branding is my favourite seedhead: Dacus Carota - wild carrot.  I'm drawn to seedheads and their interesting shapes in the landscape. I like them too, for their future propagation, and for the birds they attract that in turn scatter the seeds.

I see my practice as a seed that started small and tight out of necessity. One that continues to be nurtured and nourished with learning and experience. It is my hope that the teachings I share offer little seeds that get scattered in the studios and online. Like the birds that drop the seeds as they take flight, ready to propagate somewhere else, in someone else.

In the designs you will also see the hand of support, of kindness and of growth. This gesture is one of offering and receiving. An expression of our individual growth, a constant exchange of expressing out and drawing in, a reminder of where we are on our own path and within community.

I chose the Factory, an eco printers & graphic design house, to design my logo and branding. It's a family run business of smart, kind and nature aligned creatives. The Factory uses sustainable paper, plant based ink and plastic free packaging. It uses both solar and wind energy to generate their electricity. On a personal note it is thanks to Lisa (Dooley) and her partner Caleb, that we have the joy of Poppy in our lives.

I hope you find beauty and storytelling in my new logo and branding, oh and look out for the joy of Poppy!
